Wow, this is incredibly heavy duty. I was surprised at how heavy it is, and the thick, robust cable makes it obviously industrial grade. Use it at home in your garage and it will last several lifetimes. It runs on LEDs rather than incandescent and has a very soft, easy touch on off switch. It gives off a lot of light and the mounting bracket has notches so you can attach it to the ceiling or wall. The tightening knobs are robust, so you can set an angle and leave it or adjust and re tighten. A great product, very well made.

This loading dock light from The WarehouseWiz has many more uses than just loading docks. I was totally impressed with the quality of this light when I removed it from its packaging.
The light is solid and very heavy duty. The first thing I noticed was how well the light was finished in a durable yellow powder coat. It’s smooth and its high gloss sheen makes this light look impressive.
The light is also very bright. After a prolonged run time the housing does get warm however there are 12 large heatsinks that are very efficient at dissipating the heat. The LED and front lens are also protected by a solid chrome plated cage. Based upon the build quality of this light it will withstand a lot of abuse. As other reviewers have mentioned it makes a perfect garage work light. I installed mine in the garage for that purpose and it works incredibly well.

I know this is advertised as a loading dock light, but I ordered this light for my husband in the garage. He often works on our vehicles in the garage and the lighting is overhead, making it difficult to see. He has a caged lightbulb but I thought this would work much better.
He loves the light! It is definitely heavy-duty and great quality. The light is caged for safety, has adjustable light head, and is made of aluminum for durability. cord is 5ft long so it has some length, but not enough to move around unless you have an extension cord.
The on/off switch is on the back with a push button. The LED is bright enough to fill a room. My husband found it perfect to light up the undercarriage of the vehicles. The light is also certified with an approximate 50,000 hour light time.

What's included in the box?

What surfaces can I mount it to?
The included sleeve anchors are made for solid masonry: concrete, brick, or block. They're not meant for drywall or hollow walls, and the light is too heavy to hang safely on those anyway. Mounting to steel or another material? Use fasteners rated for that surface.
Do I need an electrician to install it?
No. It comes with a standard 120V power cord and plug, so it runs off a regular outlet. Mount it, aim it, and plug it in. No wiring or electrician required.
How bright is it, and is there a dimmer?
It puts out 7,000 lumens, a wide, powerful flood built to light a whole bay or garage. There's no dimmer, it's a full-output work light. That makes it excellent for area lighting.
Will it hold up in the cold and wet?

The arm feels stiff. How do I adjust it?
